surrounded by gorgeous mountains. There are a few private homes along the south shore as well as float planes. The

lake and nearby area host an abundance of Alaskan wildlife such as salmon, eagles, loons, swans, bears and moose. Extra

awareness of the surroundings and isolation is essential. The club launch rests at a dock, however shells are launched

from the beach.

The community of Seward and surrounding area has a population of approximately 5,000. The economy is primarily

tourist driven in the summer and provides many opportunities for additional part-time employment if the candidate is

interested. Links to local businesses that hire summer help can be provided. Additionally, because the influx of seasonal

workers, rental housing is very tight. The club will help with suggestions for contacts regarding housing opportunities.
