Novices who complete 100% of the training will receive a $50.00 certificate that can be applied to that year's annual membership.

The KCRC holds Learn To Row classes for anyone, age 14 and up, who are interested in learning the sport of rowing or just wanting to improve existing skills. The Learn To Row introductory class covers the basics of sweep rowing. Instruction will include, dry land training, terminology, boat handling skills, safety information, erging techniques, and rowing fundamentals. All water classes are held on a "weather permitting" basis.

Classes are held at Bear Lake in Seward and take about 9 hours split over 2 days. If you are interested please come and join us! 2010 classes will be held on Saturday, May 29th and finishing on Sunday, May 30st. 1:00-5:30
