About The Crewsers

Founded in 1997, the Kenai Crewsers Rowing association is the oldest rowing club in Alaska. The club is located on the eastern side of the Kenai Peninsula in south-central Alaska.
The rowing season runs from April through October with the primary row sites being Bear Lake in Seward, and Kenai Lake in Cooper Landing. These row sites are about 45 miles apart and boats, both sweep and scull, are located at each site. Usually, at least a level 1 USRowing certified coach is hired during the summer months to help with the training.
Every year, the KCRC enters regattas held not only in Alaska, but in the lower 48 states as well. This year, the Seward crew will head to Sydney, Australia to compete in the World Masters Games.
Anyone, 14 years and up, that wishes to row with the KCRC may do so. Learn To Row Classes are available to help teach the novices and more experienced rowers can take advantage of the advanced training that is also offered. If you are interested in joining, please fill out the Membership Agreement, the KCRC Waiver, the USRA Waiver, and The Emergency Contact Sheet. Fill all of them out and mail them to the address listed at the left.
For those wishing to take advantage of The Learn To Row Classes, please fill out the Learn To Row application along with the KCRC Waiver. Mail both along with $90.00 to the address at the left. See you on the water!
NEW FROM 2009!: Members and drop-in rowers must submit Membership Agreements and waivers in advance of their first row to be included on the insurance roster.
