2008 Head of the Kenai Regatta

Join us to row the most picturesque head race you have ever rowed. The 3 mile course
will start and finish at Quartz Creek Boat Launch with 2 buoyed turns, both starboard.

Schedule and order of events:
8:00 am: Officials and timers meeting
8:30 am: Coaches and coxswains meeting
9:00 am: First boats may launch
9:30 am: Exhibition Men's 8+
9:31 am: Novice Mixed 8+
10:30 am: Women's 8+
11:15 am: Men's 4x
11:45 am: Women's 4x
12:45 pm: Mixed 8+

The fine print : Final registration due Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Entry fees are $15 per participant. Higher fees this year will provide additional portapotties. Food table supplied by KCRC for breakfast (bagels, mufins/breads, fruit, yogurt), lunch (chili, cornbread, wrap sandwiches) and beverages (coffee, hot tea, hot chocolate, water). Spectators wishing to eat from the food table $5. One check per club. Each club should supply their own bow numbers. Camping available on a first come, first served basis with no reservations. Camping fee will be charged if the water is still running with flush toilets; no fee if the water is turned off.
